I first started to learn about gardenia plant care over 45 years ago. At the time I worked at an orchid nursery.Across the street, Mr. Landrum grew thousands of grafted avocado, mango trees, and gardenia bushes. The gardenia was grafted on Gardenia thunbergia rootstock.Old Mr. Landrum planted all his trees in gallon cans, set on bricks.
